Celebrating Speed, Skill, and the Spirit of Mini 4WD Racing
Tamiya Malaysia proudly organized an exciting Tamiya Mini 4WD Tournament during the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS), bringing together Mini 4WD enthusiasts, hobbyists, families, and aspiring racers for a weekend filled with speed, competition, and community spirit.
The tournament showcased the excitement of Tamiya Mini 4WD racing while introducing more visitors to one of the world’s most iconic hobby brands. Participants of all ages had the opportunity to experience the thrill of racing, compete against fellow enthusiasts, and demonstrate their machine tuning skills on our professional race track.
A Weekend Filled with Exciting Competition
Throughout the event, racers competed across multiple tournament rounds, carefully fine-tuning their Mini 4WD machines to achieve the perfect balance of speed, stability, and performance. Every race highlighted not only the engineering behind each car but also the creativity and dedication of every participant.
The atmosphere was electric as spectators gathered around the track, cheering on racers and witnessing intense head-to-head battles where every second mattered. Whether participants were seasoned competitors or first-time racers, everyone shared the same passion for Tamiya Mini 4WD.
Strengthening Global Ties: A Special Guest from Japan
A memorable highlight of the event was the opportunity to strengthen our ties with Tamiya’s global leadership. We were deeply honored to welcome a Japan Tamiya Ambassador to our booth (pictured on the right, alongside our Tamiya Malaysia representative on the left). Together, they commemorated the occasion with a presentation of the Aero Avante Starter Pack (AR Chassis) Mini 4WD kit. This symbolic gift exchange against the iconic red-and-blue Tamiya twin stars backdrop highlights the strong support from Tamiya Japan and our shared dedication to growing the Mini 4WD culture here in Malaysia.
Bringing the Tamiya Community Together
One of the biggest highlights of the KLIMS tournament was the opportunity to bring the Malaysian Mini 4WD community together. The event welcomed:

- Families with young children enjoying a fun, hands-on activity together.
