On 13–14 June 2026, Tamiya Malaysia proudly organised the Tamiya Mini 4WD Asia Challenge 2026 – Malaysia Qualifying Round, bringing together Malaysia’s best Mini 4WD enthusiasts for two days of thrilling competition, intense rivalries, and unforgettable racing moments.

The Malaysia Qualifying Round wasn’t just another tournament—it was the gateway to the Tamiya Mini 4WD Asia Challenge Grand Final, where only the most skilled racers would earn the honour of representing Malaysia against Asia’s top competitors.
Every lap counted.

From carefully tuned machines to lightning-fast cornering, competitors gave everything they had in pursuit of victory. The atmosphere was electric as families, supporters, and fellow hobbyists gathered to
witness spectacular races and cheer on their favourite drivers.

This year’s qualifying round featured two official racing categories, each showcasing different aspects of Mini 4WD racing.
Open Class
Where creativity meets engineering.
The Open Class featured highly customised Mini 4WD machines built for maximum performance. Racers demonstrated exceptional technical knowledge, strategic tuning, and precise control as they pushed their cars to the limit in every heat.
Stock Class
Skill over modification.
The Stock Class highlighted the importance of driving strategy, consistency, and race-day performance under standard regulations. Every competitor relied on precision, preparation, and smart decisionmaking to stay ahead of the competition.
No matter the category, every race delivered edge-of-your-seat excitement from start to finish.
